Mortgage rates remain high.

The median sale price was $549,950 at the end of May 2023. This is up slightly from April, and is down 7.1 % from this time last year.

New listings in the Reno-Sparks area have increased 15.3% from April to May, but remains 26.9% down from the previous year.

Sold homes reached 450 for the month of May, up 7.7% from April and down 24.6% from May 2022.

The active inventory of homes in May reached 723, up 2.1% from April. This is down 23.0% from May 2022.

The months supply is down 5.1% from April, and up 2.1% from the same period in 2022.
